I have a seven year old pointer who i have had since she was a young puppy. She displays a lot of the signs of a dog who doesn't love me. It makes mee very sad. She goes off to sleep in a separate room after having been fed. She doesn't like being touched and if she is on the couch and i come to sit with her she will endure it for a minute, then move away. She does take treats and comes back at the dog park when off leash. She is mildly excited when i come home but not very much. She is never aggressive but also avoids eye contact. She has never licked me. I am calm and friendly around her. It is not very satisfying. I wonder why. Can anyone help me connect better with her?

My dog lived for 80 years old and when i woke up getting ready for school i went to the living room finding that my grandpa said that she had died and we cried in the car and turned around to go back home and we dug uo a grave for her and put her in and prayed for her

I got a cat about a year ago. She would hide and vocalise a lot. She was a bit tramatised. She was neglected by the previous owner. She hadn't been registered with a vet, she was underweight, she hadn't been dressed and just had a litter, she had a flea infestation and she was really nervous. I registered her with a vet that day. She couldn't have the surgery done until she gained weight. She's been dressed now. She's had all her treatments and she's like a whole new cat. No more hiding or vocalising. It took some time for her to trusts me. She has her own room but she comes in to sleep with me, it's adorable. She seems more confident, she holds her tail high now. I think she's happy, she used to just stare at the toys when I tried to play with her but she plays everyday now. There's been a big difference in her.

I love my Tuxedo Cat, Oreo’s personality. It is almost dog-like in nature. You can jump to get him riled up and he’ll literally skate off the walls. He also loves to greet people at the door while his Tabby brother Simba just stays put where he is. He’ll do his little hunting meow while you hold a ping pong ball in the air and then will chase after it and sometimes hit it back with his paw. They both are great brothers and great editions to our family.

Probabbly the worst thing i could experience in my cat's final moments was seeing her dying trying to fighting for her life meowing and tries to stand up in front of us, its really hard to accept the fact you can save her but the problem was we don't have much that money to check her up to a vet. thank you for this. explained in way that's easy to understand, and very comprehensive. only two things I'd suggest modifying in this video: 1) specify that socialization is most important when a dog is a puppy (3-16 weeks), and 2) avoid using the term "dominant" when describing dogs. Dominance as an instinctive trait in dogs has been discredited by experts. Otherwise, excellent job. keep up the good work!
